Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Ducat Maritime collects through ducatmaritime.com, why we collect it and what rights you have. It covers the contact form and the cargo order form on this website.

Who we are

Ducat Maritime, 317b Unit 16, 28 Oktovriou Ave., Limassol 3105, Cyprus, is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at operations@ducatmaritime.com or +357 25000028.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us:

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message.
  • Cargo order form: your company name, company email address, phone number and the sailing you select.

When you submit a form, our server briefly uses your IP address to limit repeated submissions. It is held in memory for up to 15 minutes and is not stored.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry or order and to prepare and manage any business that follows. The legal bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell them.

Who we share it with

We use the following service providers, which process data on our behalf:

  • SMTP2GO, which delivers form submissions to our mailbox by email.
  • Microsoft 365, which hosts our email.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot. It processes technical information about your browser and connection. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • OpenStreetMap, which displays the map on our contact page. Loading the map sends your IP address to the OpenStreetMap Foundation. See its privacy policy.
  • Our web hosting provider, which runs the server for this website.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Form submissions are not stored on this website. They reach us as emails, which we keep for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any business that follows, and for as long as the law requires (for example, for accounting and tax records).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. To do so, email operations@ducatmaritime.com.

You can also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (www.dataprotection.gov.cy).

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
